This guide provides information on the routine vaccinations that are given to children before they start school to help protect them from serious childhood diseases. This leaflet includes the January 2026 schedule: the MMRV vaccine, the diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis and polio booster, the annual childhood nasal flu programme, revised routine immunisation schedule and selective immunisation schedule from January 2026. Having your child vaccinated on time helps to give them the best protection, when they need it most.
